Client Service Agreement & Liability Waiver
1. Parties to This Agreement
This Client Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Purpose Forge ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") and the individual or guardian signing below ("Client"). By signing this Agreement, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions set forth herein.
2. Description of Services
Purpose Forge provides a college guidance platform designed to help students develop self-awareness, build a four-year academic plan, and navigate the college application process. Services include, but are not limited to: Personalized journaling and self-discovery tools; Resume and activity tracker; College roadmap and four-year planning tools; Teacher recommendation guidance; AI-powered college counseling and Q&A support.
3. No Guarantee of College Admittance
PURPOSE FORGE DOES NOT GUARANTEE, PROMISE, OR REPRESENT THAT USE OF ITS PLATFORM OR SERVICES WILL RESULT IN ACCEPTANCE, ADMISSION, OR ENROLLMENT AT ANY COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY, OR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION. College admissions decisions are made solely and exclusively by each respective institution based on their own criteria, standards, and discretionary judgment. Purpose Forge has no affiliated title, influence over, or ability to affect the admissions decisions of any school or educational institution. The Client acknowledges and agrees that: a) Purpose Forge is a guidance and self-development tool, not an admissions guarantee. b) Results and outcomes will vary between individual users. c) Testimonials or success stories shared by Purpose Forge are individual experiences and are not representative of typical outcomes. d) Purpose Forge’s role is to provide tools, resources, and guidance — the ultimate admissions decision rests entirely with each institution.
4. Limitation of Liability & Waiver
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PURPOSE FORGE, ITS FOUNDERS, TEAM MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO: • College rejection or non-admittance to any institution; • Outcomes from essays, applications, or interviews prepared using Purpose Forge resources; • Decisions made by the Client based on information, suggestions, or guidance provided through the platform; • Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content or platform recommendations; • Loss of data, service interruptions, or technical failures. The Client agrees to hold harmless and release Purpose Forge from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising from the Client's use of the platform and services.
5. Cancellation Policy
Either party may terminate this Agreement and cancel services by providing written notice of no less than thirty (30) days prior to the desired cancellation date. Written cancellation notice must be submitted to Purpose Forge via email or written letter at the contact information provided at the time of enrollment. Cancellation requests will be confirmed in writing by Purpose Forge within five (5) business days of receipt. The Client acknowledges that: • Any fees or payments due during the notice period remain the obligation of the Client. • Purpose Forge reserves the right to terminate services immediately in cases of breach of the Agreement, misuse of the platform, or conduct deemed harmful to the Purpose Forge community.
6. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of California.
7. Acknowledgment & Signatures
By signing below, the Client acknowledges that they have read and fully understood this Agreement, including the limitation of liability, no guarantee of admittance, and cancellation policy, and voluntarily agree to all terms contained herein.
